Strange smells or.. Something else

When you start smelling odd odors and especially if you see sparks or smoke; then it’s definitely time to get a new microwave. At the very least – it’s time to stop using the old one because it can turn into a potential fire hazard. Don’t take that chance!
Microwaves are famous for their low hums, but when you hear things like buzzing, rattling and grinding noises – it’s a surefire indicator that there’s a problem. While sometimes these symptoms can be the result of something minor – most of the time they’re not. Depending on how much you paid to begin with, it might be time to start considering the cost of a new one.
