Can you describe your level of experience?

At the end of the day, there’s no replacement for rolling up your sleeves and getting into the nitty gritty with something and before hiring any appliance repairman, you should make sure they have a proven track record of success. Longevity matters and if they’ve been around a long time, there’s almost always a reason.

Can you provide references?

If you’re still unsure, ask for references. That’s always helpful. These are folks who will vouch for the company that have had actual work done for them. Also be sure to read reviews from unbiased sources like Google or Yelp. If the person has a great reputation – you can be pretty confident he’ll do well by you.
